EDUCATION

   Pritika earned her schooling education at Sacred Heart Senior secondary school and Lawrence Public School. After that, she joined Punjab University for a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. Then, she completed her Master's in Biotechnology at Thapar Institute of Engineering Technology.

ENTREPRENRURIAL JOURNEY

    Pritika was always inquisitive as a child. Having little access to Google and the internet she would read anything she came across, even ingredients on the packaging to understand what the items were made of. Generally, people do not do this thing. It is necessary if you want to live healthily. 
     In 2013, Pritika was doing a master's in biotechnology, where she learned that most skincare items contain toxic chemicals that are very dangerous in the long term. She was then working on her master's thesis related to the cause of breast cancer that was published on Tylor and Francis.
     Pritika says that people were eating something so toxic to their skins just to look beautiful. As a conscious user, I could not find any natural products that catered to my requirements.

      After that, she joined cosmetic research and development teams at corporate organizations and was not satisfied with their practices. Additionally, she has to follow orders at work and can't question why certain contents were being added. So that, she decided to start her own startup related to skincare products. Pritika started this venture with an initial investment of Rs.6 lakhs.
    Today, This startup's products, priced between Rs.350 and Rs.1200. Their items are also available on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and their own items. Now, she hopes to enhance the brand's online B2C presence soon. This startup passed one crore in revenue in the financial year 2017 to 2018.
