ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY

She is a very environment-friendly person. She always wanted to do something for her mother earth.

She got this idea from the Delhi trip. She noticed that Ghazipur landfill which is the largest landfill and generates 62 million metric tonnes of waste annually which is actually a huge amount. So, she decided to work and do something in the field of waste management.

On further research, they got know that 82% of this waste is e-waste out of which 78% is the dry cell batteries which are the major cause of landfills and different diseases like liver cirrhosis, heart disease, and many more.

They also got to know that 97% of the materials used in these batteries are imported from different countries levying a high pressure of more than 148 billion dollars on the Indian Economy which is a very big amount.

More stories:-

So, we have two alternatives either to employ an effective waste management technique or to change the legacy batteries. Waste management starts with 3 ways, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. So, they started with reduction and decided to reduce this waste by actually changing the legacy batteries.

Their aim was to find herbal electrocyclic which is become an alternative to those chemicals. So, they started researching 9+ organic products like Lemon, Potato, Orange, Apple, and so on. But it was not feasible as it generated a few amounts of potentials but even lesser current or was not appropriate for the electrocyclic. Faced with many issues, duration, analysis they got Alo vera. So, they experimented with Aelovera gel. It' voltage is somewhere between 0.8-0.9V. They are successful in this experiment.

After that, she establishes a startup Aloe Ecell with Naveen Suman. It is a battery, so that lost os certificates and approvals are required before taking this into the market. They work hard and they got all certificates and approvals and they put into the market. After 4 months, they plan to get these cells manufactured and cell them to the end customers with the help of retailers.

Currently, their startup is achieving huge success and they were nominated for the national startup award and many more awards.
