   Aastha earned her schooling from The Army Public School. New Delhi. After that, she pursued her BA from Delhi University. Then, she completed her MA at Symbiosis School of International Studies. She also earned her International Relations and Affairs studies from Leeds Beckett University.

    India is ranked the 6th most sexually active country and yet people consider sex, a taboo and refrain from discussing it openly. 

    Aastha Vohra broke this stereotype around sex and launched the Manzuri startup. It provides adult sex toys and offers sex education. Derived from a Japanese word that translates to 'a thousand rubs' and roughly translates to consent in Hindi, Astha co-founded Manzuri with her best friend Ritesh D Ritelin in 2020.

    During her graduation days, Aastha lived in a liberal and cosmopolitan environment that lead to empowering discussion on gender inequality, sexual liberation, and sex education.

     Aastha found her passion in exploring oneself and how to be truly authentic to ourselves. Her sexual liberation became the key to her own journey along this path as she began to explore her own body and confidence sexually. However, being an entrepreneur in the sexual wellness space had its own challenges. She operates this startup along with a full-time job. 

   Aastha started this venture by spreading information, education, and awareness on sexual wellness. She still faces resistance from people but believes it to be the conservative culture at play. To tackle these taboo issues, a tremendous amount of unlearning happens. To bridge the pleasure gap in the nation, Manzuri uses social media and blogs. and online workshops.

   Till now, Manzuri sold over 10,000 adult toys with rabbits and Bullet being the most loved. The startup aims to be a one-stop spot for vulva own sex-ed courses and do their part in bridging the sex-ed gap in the nation. Apart from this startup focuses on imparting pleasure-positive sex education to the nation's youth through content and commerce.
