    Anant earned his schooling education from Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr. After that, He joined Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce for Bachelor in commerce. He also joined Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Limited for Financial Modeling.

STARTUP STORY

    After completing his B.com he has worked with Siemens for more than one and half years in various job roles. After that, he left his job to pursue Hydroponics as his full-time career.

      In this era, People are focusing on healthier and fresher alternatives to traditional-chemical-adulterated vegetables. For many people, quality is definitely a priority over money. This has created a niche in the conventional vegetable space and thus hydroponics fits here perfectly.

     So that, he started Poddar Farms startup, which provides fresh, residue-free, and nutritious farm products. The startup also gives do-it-yourself hydroponic kits and offers professional consultancy and training for full-time hydroponic projects. Their precision farming practices and advanced greenhouses make optimum conditions for plants to sustain and ensure a year-round supply of fresh, nutritious, locally-grown, and free from pesticides vegetables, and microgreens.

    Lack of a skilled workforce is the biggest challenge that is he facing right now. There are not many people who are skilled enough to take control of the farm operations; thus, sometimes it creates a voice of human resources in this startup. To overcome this challenge they are currently training unskilled farm laborers in hydroponics and are also getting them acquainted with working on farms.

      Today, Poddar Farms gives B2C sales in their district Bulandshahr(Uttar Pradesh), and B2B sales in Delhi-NCR. They are thinking to expand their operations and provide services to the consumers in the B2C space in Delhi-NCR as well. They are enhancing their production capabilities to reach their goal of serving more than 500 families by the year 2022.

      Poddar Farm's vision is to decrease the burden on natural resources by optimizing their usage through their state-of-the-art farm setup and making a self-sustained of feeding mankind with healthy, chemical-free, and fresh farm produce.
