   Kartik Aaryan is an Indian Actor and model. He has performed in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi, Dhamaka, and many more Bollywood films. He is from Madhya Pradesh, India.

EDUCATION

    Kartik Aaryan earned his engineering in Biotechnology from D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai. After that, he pursued his acting education from Acting Institute: Kreating Charakters Mumbai.

SUCCESS STORY

   While graduating, Katik dabbled in modeling and made attempts to start a career in movies. During his graduation, he met casting director Rahul Gurmeet Singh and started his journey to Bollywood, Rahul introduced him to Kumar Mangat Pathak and Luv Ranjan. 
    Kartik started a modeling career while Rahul convinced the producer for his first break. He informed his parents of his desire to become an actor only after he signed for his film. In the third year of college, Aaryan made his acting debut with Luv Rajan's buddy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011. He found a casting call for the movie on Facebook and secured the role after auditioning for six months. 
   As he had limited financial means at that point, he lived in an apartment with 12 other aspiring actors and earned money by cooking for them. His film Pyar Ka Panchnama emerged as a sleeper hit and he received a nomination for the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Male Debut.
     After the release of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Kartik Aaryan completed his engineering degree on the insistence of his mother. Later, he collaborated once again with Rajan and Bharucha in the romance Akaash Vani in 2013. 
    Sudhir Chaudhary, the cinematographer in Aaryan's previous films, showed his work to Subhash Ghai, who was impressed by Aaryan and cast him in his directorial Kaanchi: The Unbreakable in 2014.
    Then, Kartik starred in Rajan's comedy sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which retained some of the original's cast, including him and Bharucha. This movie, earned over Rs.880 million against a budget of Rs.220 million, and emerged as a major financial success. For his performance, Aaryan won a Stardust Award.
   The following year, Kartik appeared in Tanuja Chandra's short film Silvat. Which was made as part of the Zeal for Unity initiative to bridge cultural barriers between India and Pakistan. Later, Aaryan next starred alongside Paresh Rawal and Kriti Kharbanda in Guest iin London in 2017.
     Kartik Aaryan's breakthrough came in 2018 when he collaborated with Rajan and Bharucha for the fourth time in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which also reunited him with Singh. This film earned Rs.1.5 billion, the film emerged as Aaryan's biggest success. Kartik believes that the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety allowed him to choose from a wider variety of roles.
    Aaryan was drawn to Luka Chuppi, along with Kriti Sanon. Next, he starred alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey in the comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh, a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. Both Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh were commercially successful, each grossing over Rs.1 billion worldwide. Then, he appeared in Imtiaz Ali's romantic drama Love Aaj Kal.

    In 2021, Kartik performed in Nexflix's thriller Dhamaka. In the future, Kartik Aaryan will appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,  Freddy, and Shehzada. He will be teaming up with Screwvala for two more films, Vasan Bala's yet-untitled superhero film based on Phantom and Harshal Mehta's social drama, Captain India that will see him portraying an airforce officer.
