SUCCESS STORY
Donal started modeling from her college days, Then, she worked as a journalist for a news channel and also anchored for Chitrahaar, which aired on Doordarshan. She had a lot of interest in acting since childhood. She often used to act in front of her mirror and dance by closing the doors of her room. Her journey of becoming an actress was so hard.
At the behest of her parents, Donal studied journalism at the media college, after which she fulfilled the dream of her parents by anchoring in Chitrahar. Then, Donal convinced her parents, and she wanted to go to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams and wanted to become an actress.
But her parents did not agree. Then, she lied in her office and asked the boss to transfer her to Mumbai as her entire family is shifting to Mumbai. After this, her boss transferred her to Mumbai within 1 month. Thus, she reached Mumbai where she started work as a Bollywood reporter in her Mumbai office.
One day, she got a chance to interview Sonali Bendre and she came to interview her. During that time, Star Plus senior's eyes fell on Donal and he felt that she is an actress. After that, he talked to his PR team, then the call of PR came to Donal. PR told Donal that Star Plus senior wanted to talk to you because he thought that you are an actress.
Then, Donal met the senior of Star Plus. The senior told her that, Star Plus will soon come up with a mythological show called Siya Ke Ram in which we are looking for an actress to play the role of Mata Sita, so if you are interested to play the role of Mata Sita then you can audition for the role. After that, she auditioned for that role, but unfortunately, she could not get selected because she did not know acting.

Donal Bisht had to face a lot of challenges in speaking the dialogues in the auditions as Siya Ke Ram was a mythological show which required speaking very pure and difficult Hindi. After this, she got a chance to give many more auditions for various shows.
She kept on auditioning for months, after which she got a chance to do a Cameo role as a journalist in the Star Plus show Airlines.
