She got this startup idea from foreign concept - Vedika Tibrewal

       

     Vedika Tibrewal is Establisher of the Vikson Foodworks. It is the parent company of the brand Scoopski Cookie Dough. It is a versatile dessert in a jar and its claim to fame is India's first Edible Cookie Dough. She is from Kolkata, India.

EDUCATION

     Vedika earned her high school education from Modern High School for Girls. After that, she joined the Bachelor of Science in Economics for St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Then, she joined Harvard University for Summer Programme and Creative Thinking and Organisational Behaviour. She also a student of SDA Bocconi, where she earned a Master's Degree in Management in Food and Beverage.

ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY

      After completing her education she returning back to India, She realized edible cookie dough was still a foreign concept in India. She began testing in her home kitchen, trying to recreate New York's consumable cookie dough.

     Her experienced in the kitchen was a benefit as she tried creating a no-frills dessert that could be customized and played with. Subsequent to spending endless hours in the kitchen, she finally broke the formula of the recipe and sent out scoops of cookie dough to her friends and family. On accepting positive input, with her friends wanting more, She started taking orders for scoops of cookie dough, which she initiated Scoopski.

      Her mother, Sonal helped her with sourcing products and preparing the dough. Both first tested products at a flea market in Kolkata's Hindustan Park in February 2018. Encouraged by the response to the product, she went in for items and packaging development. She also convinced her mother to join her in the startup.

     Having overcome the initial challenges, She builds this huge empire with Hard work. Today, she becomes an inspirational woman for new startups.
