ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY
In 2017, when Vinay ventured out on a trek to the Malnad region of the Western Ghats, little did he know that a startup idea would spark him there.
When they got back from the trip, He ate these astonishing jackfruit bars at a Chai ki Tapri that were produced using endemic jackfruits by a neighborhood SHG. They were preservative-free tasted heavenly, and he wondered why these products were not available in city markets.
The following day, he bought 30-kilograms of the neighborhood and provincial things to sell at a slow down in a swap meet at a Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru. They had booked the stall for three days, but their products sold out in the first half of the day. This led to the hypothesis that traditional regional products have a large demand in the market. This understanding based on which Go Desi was founded.
