ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY
Neha belongs to a Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, and she used to travel for 8 km every day to study at the nearest high school in Shamgarh. At that time, There was only one primary school in their village and most parents stopped their daughter's studies after Class 8. This also happened with Neha's life.
Neha could not become an engineer because her high school did not offer them maths. But she was determined to continue her studies and decided to opt for arts instead.
Following her graduation in 2008, Neha not only became the first girl from the village to pursue higher education with a BA degree in Economics from Ujjain's Vikram University but also paved the way for thousands of students to access quality education with her startup, TutorCabin.

In 2018, Neha set up an office in a co-work space, built a simple website, and started hiring, interviewing, and training tutors to create a single platform for tutors. Initially, Neha started out with 10-15 tutors, who later went on to become a part of her core team. Neha launched full-fledged operations with offline tutoring sessions for about 20 students in Indore. But within four months, their parents could see how their children's performances had already improved and started recommending them to others.
Today, TutorCabin offers classes for students from nursery through Class 12, college, and preparing for various competitive exams. This venture successfully catered to the tutoring needs of more than 85 thousand students across the nation since its inception in 2018. It has nearly 1500 teachers on the platform today and has expanded its online reach to all over the India and USA, UK, and Dubai etc.
TutorCabin also decided to give free classes to school children who lost their parents due to COVID-19.
Neha started her entrepreneur journey with Rs.25,000, but TutorCabin recorded a turnover of Rs.22 lakh during the last fiscal year. They also provides offline classes in some cities and spoken english classes for everyone.
I want to encourage girls to break free from societal fear and equip themselves with education and skills to pursue their respective choices in life.
