STARTUP STORY

The art of cooking is what sets us apart as humans. Food is one of the only universal topics that can bring people together and be a conversation starter.
Growing up in Chandigarh and being surrounded by the intense Punjabi culture, Ishana Passi's passion for food twirled into unconditional fondness as the time she spent in the kitchen was tremendously therapeutic and exhilarating.
During the first wave of COVID-19, she came up with the innovative idea of making and selling sugar-free hot chocolate stirrers in her city. She started producing these from her home kitchen and soon started shipping in India. As the stirrers were a huge hit, she came up with the idea of launching delicious yet healthy snacks using millets, vegan and gluten-free ingredients.
The startup went live in November last year with the launch of its social media handles Instagram and an official website.

All the products by Spoonful stories are gluten-free, vegan and with no sugar or preservatives added. They are 100% homemade with attention to detail and are simply available across the nation. Spoonful Stories also managed to get their items recognized by Luke Coutinho and are thus, listed on Amazon and You Care by Luke Coutinho.
Initially, it is actually hilarious, when she tells people that the products are gluten-free, vegan, and sugar-free, some people say are you weaving products out of thin air11. Today, the brand also amassed elite clientele, including celebrities including Sagarika Ghatge Khan, Deanne Panday, Tisca Chopra, and Vidya Malavade.

For me, my kitchen is a canvas to be truly creative and productive.
