Mehul completed his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the Dharmsinh Desai University. He is also MBA by qualification.

ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY
After completing his studies Mehul wanted to set up a business where he could use his technical expertise, while doing research he found some positive changes were necessary to implement in the filtration industry. Mehul started this company with an investment of Rs.10,000 from his mother's savings.
When Mehul started this Filter Concept, at that time, the filtration business was confined to merely marketing and product selling to the industries, while application analysis was particularly at their lowest levels. Possessing a technical background, he was doing his own research, and thus filter concept was born. He does not sell a product, he understands the customer's demand, develops the product to solve their issues, and that makes them different than others.

Slowly, Mehul started approaching PSUs and bagged a deal with ONGC. This filter concept ranked in Rs.100 crore turnover in FY20, and the company exports to 87 nations and earns 80% of its revenue from these exports and 20% from PSUs.
Today, This company offers complete filtration technology solutions to clients across all industrial sectors, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, cement formulations, textile, paints and inks, steel and power, fertilizers, mines and mineral, water treatment, and electronics among others. The filter concept builds its filtration machines based on its in-house technology and does not depend on other agencies for technological assistance.
In the Future, Mehul is planning to launch hydrogel water purifier bottles into the B2C market soon. The company also aims to set up its offices and factories in foreign.
