It took a long time to build the world's largest building, Burj Khalifa, which broke through the clouds. There were many challenges faced by the engineers.
Challenge - 1
This was for engineers who were given only six years to build a construction of Burj Khalifa, which was not possible for engineers. Only Burj Khalifa's design preparation(Burj Khalifa's 3d model) seemed three years time. If they do three years of designing, it would not be possible to build the Burj Khalifa in the remaining three years. That is why the engineers decided to start the construction work without design and started the excavation of the foundation of the building in February 2009 and at the same time, the design work of Burj Khalifa started.
Challenge - 2
The second biggest challenge in the construction of Burj Khalifa was its foundation work. Large stones are used in almost any building, but the foundations of the Burj Khalifa was found in the lower quality and smaller stone which had no capacity to handle this building's weight. So the problem was how such a big building could stand on such small stones. For that, scientists have used a science principle called a fraction. For this, an iron pipe was used at the base of the Khalifa tower. These 192 iron pipes were buried at a depth of 50 meters at the base of Burj Khalifa. So that the whole weight of the Burj Khalifa could be concentrated on that 192 iron scale.
Challenge - 3
The Khalifa tower structure designing and interior design were given to Emaar a large Chicago company. This company also handled many building structures. But building the structure of the world's largest building was also a difficult task for him. His job was to lift the whole weight of the Burj Khalifa on this structure and all the floors should be shine by natural light. And that building also should be 160 floors. The solution to this problem was worked out day and night by this company. And that was the buttress structure of Burj Khalifa, which was applied to this building for the first time in the world.
Challenge - 4
Gradually, the construction of Burj Khalifa began, and as it progressed another question arose and that was the way to deliver the cement mixture used in the construction of Khalifa tower and this problem's solution was the concrete suction system. For this large pipes were erected through which the cement mixer was delivered from bottom to top. The Burj Khalifa used the concrete mixture in the work weighed equal to one lakh elephants. For which the largest pumps in the world were called which carried the entire cement mixture of Burj Khalifa to the top.
